With Thanksgiving here and gone I have been super busy...just like every other American I know. We had lots of food and we still have lots of food. It's only a few days past the turkey but my kids are sick of it. Along with all the food prep I had a few photo shoots. I am a bit behind because I had some problems with my light room and if you have used it than you know what a pain it is to try and edit pictures without it. Not worth it. Here a few of the daughter's pictures I took a week or so ago. She had many different faces she could make. She was so stinking cute. Look at these faces!!

Photobooth - International Thanksgiving dinner.

My husband had the wonderful opportunity to put together an International Thanksgiving dinner. We held it on the Vanderbilt campus and with the help of the Every Nation Campus Leaders we were able to pass out flyers to International's around campus. We had around 120 people come and Dr. Ming Wang spoke. He is a genius!!Here are a few pictures from last night.

This is just one side of the room. The other side was just as full.
Miss Ava was my prop tester the night before and she did awesome.

Stanton's at Cheekwood

I can't believe it has already been a full yr since I went to Cheekwood for the first time for this family's pictures, I am so glad they suggested this place. It is sooo beautiful. I loved getting to know this family better and since than we have become good friends.

This little guy was still for just a moment for me to capture this shot. He is a typical 3 yr old, always on the move.

Shanty's senior

This morning I had a very productive time getting my kids to help me clean. The house was a mess since I have been sick the whole week. I than spent the rest of the day failing in getting my kids to have happy attitudes with what they have to eat. So after a tiring day the kids are quietly watching a show before bed and I am watching Amazing Race and editing pictures and up-dating my blog. A few weeks ago I had the privilege of taking Shanty's senior pictures. She was lots of fun, full of energy and spunk, just like a teenager should be. We did one session at Cheekwood and than added a few more pictures at Centennial Park so we could  add her violin and bible. Here is a few shots from those days.

Part 2 of the photowalk. Just a few more pictures.

Here are a few more pictures from the photowalk.

This town is soo pretty. A little fact about 4 houses down from this house is my family dentist. Dr. Burcham. He  is awesome and if you need your pearly whites cleaned you should look him up.
Who can resist a little piggy?
Franklin is also a great place for other photographers to do some family pictures there.

This is such a beautiful quite town that there are quite a few famous people who call Franklin their home. TobyMac, Ashley Judd, Brad Paisley, and Steven Curtis Chapman are just a few people.

Oct 13 I had lots of fun doing the Franklin Photowalk. This is the 5th yr for it to happen and it is all over the world. You can host one in your area if there is not one yet.
Franklin Tn was founded in 1799 by Abram Maury, Jr. He named it after Benjamin Franklin a close friend of Dr. Hugh Williamson , a member of the Continental Congress  after whom Williamson County was named.
This city has such cute little places to shop and eat. You could go make a full day of hanging out there.
Here are a few of my shots from that day.
There were soo many antique shops along the walk and the outer areas that I am thinking I need to go back just to shop. Love this one of the old baskets and mums in there.

This shot was done with my 105 macro. I call it small reflections because you can see me in the water droplet. I turned this one in as my "hopefully" winning shot.
fall has most definitely hit Franklin

gotta love the ol' fire hydrant picture. One man on the walk said that on google plus there is such a thing as fire hydrant day, where the only pictures that get posted are those of fire hydrants. Some people are so schooled on them they can tell you all the details from a picture. To me this is just a cool one that seems to be a bit confused on its color. I might post more pictures in another blog.
